What if I haven't been promoted?

As coaches, we notice that beginners often rush to earn belts, while advanced practitioners actually prefer not to be promoted.

BJJ belts are not given as gifts. It takes years of hard work to earn a new belt. If you compete, our requirements are even higher. Enjoy it while you have nothing to lose at your lower belt.

The secret is in all cases: keep training consistently and trust your coaches. Those belts will come naturally.
