Best team in Rotterdam

This weekend, GrappleCity was organized again in Rotterdam, and of course, we had to defend our title. We went with a smaller group than last time, not entirely surprising, due to the disappointing organization at the previous edition. However, this time everything was arranged much better. Our athletes did great. The kids kicked things off with the following results:

Kids Gi:

• 🥇 Abihu – Kids 6–7 years / -25kg
• 🥇 Julian – Kids 10–11 years / -30kg
• 🥇 Saifedinne – Kids 8–9 years / -30kg
• 🥇 Saifedinne – Kids 6–7 years / -30kg
• 🥈 Ayman – Kids 10–11 years / -40kg
• 🥈 Fedor – Kids 6–7 years / -25kg
• 🥉 Mika – Kids 6–7 years / -30kg
• 🥉 Jayden – Kids 8–9 years / -35kg

Kids Nogi:

• 🥇 Saifedinne – Kids 6–7 years, white belt / -30kg
• 🥇 Saifedinne – Kids 6–7 years, gray belt / -30kg

Great results, with the standout Saifedinne, who applied the lessons from his private lessons with master Joran in an amazing way in practice.

Other nice performances came from Aura, Maximus, and Zayd, but they just fell short of the podium.

Then it was time for our teenagers.

We had a strong delegation, with Zedek, Julius, and Tyrone. All candidates for gold. And they fulfilled that promise: one by one they dominated their divisions and won gold medals!

The great hero of the day was our Vid, who not only won his own class but also the open class. He finally made his dream of double gold come true and immediately posted a highlight video on his Instagram.
