Technique

The coach demonstrates techniques from our curriculum. We follow the latest developments in jiu-jitsu closely.

During games and/or specific sparring you apply the techniques.

You roll with training partners of different levels. Competitive, but always respectful.

Mandatory safety rules

To ensure a safe and hygienic environment for you and your training partners, you must comply with the rules below. If you do not comply, unfortunately, you cannot participate in the lesson.

  • Your nails are trimmed short.
  • You are not wearing jewelry or piercings.
  • You wear slippers when you are not on the mat.
  • On the mat, you always train barefoot.
  • You are present at least 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
  • You wear a tight-fitting rash guard, T-shirt, or sports shirt that covers your shoulders. Tank tops are not allowed.
  • You wear short sports shorts without pockets or zippers. You may wear leggings underneath, also without pockets or zippers.

Hygiene on the mat On the mat, you train barefoot. Step off the mat? Put on slippers.

Frequently asked questions

What level is required?

Minimum white belt with some mat experience (6+ months), or experience with wrestling, MMA, judo or sambo. Not sure? Contact us. Beginners can sign up here for a beginners trial class.

Is there a competition team?

Yes. We have the strongest competition team in the Netherlands, competing in national and international tournaments. Multiple European champions train with us.
