Haven BJJ processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide them to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

• Gender
• Date of birth
• Address details

• Bank account number

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process:

Haven BJJ processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data about you:

• Health data
• Data of persons under 16 years old

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us via [email protected], and we will delete this information.

3. The purpose and basis on which we process personal data

Haven BJJ processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Handling your payment
• Sending our newsletter and/or promotional brochure
• To be able to call or email you if necessary to carry out our services
• To inform you about changes to our services and products
• To offer you the opportunity to create an account
• To deliver goods and services to you

4. How long we retain personal data

Haven BJJ does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. If you have not been a member for more than two years, your data will be deleted.

5. Sharing personal data with third parties

Haven BJJ does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Haven BJJ remains responsible for these processing activities.

6. Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Haven BJJ uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone during your first visit to this website. Haven BJJ uses cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website functions properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to ensure the website works well and can be optimized. In addition, we place cookies that track your browsing behavior so that we can offer tailored content and advertisements.

During your first visit to our website, we already informed you about these cookies and asked for your consent to place them.

You can unsubscribe from cookies by setting your internet browser to stop storing cookies. Additionally, you can also delete all information that has been previously stored via your browser settings.

7. Fitness tracker

In our apps, you can choose to share your measurements with us. These are values such as the number of steps, your weight, your sleep, and your daily calorie intake. This data is securely stored on the server and can be deleted from the app itself.

By sharing this data in the app, your coach can provide you with advice to achieve your goal(s). If you do not have a coach at your club, you can use the data to make the progress of your own goals visible.

Important to know: we do not share this data with third parties. All data remains within the fitness program we use and is sent and stored encrypted. If you want to disable access, you can do so via the app. Your shared data will then be deleted within a week.

8. View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Haven BJJ, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization you specify.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to [email protected].

To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identification document with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, but within four weeks, to your request.

9. How we secure personal data

Haven BJJ takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unlawful alteration.
